Opacity Options
- Translucent: Reveals the natural beauty of the wood with minimal pigment. Best for newer decks in excellent condition, especially hardwoods like mahogany and teak.
- Semi-Transparent: Enhances the wood grain while adding a hint of color. Ideal for softwoods like cedar and pine, particularly when re-staining a deck that’s still in good shape but needs a refreshed look.
- Semi-Solid: Provides rich color while letting some grain and texture show through. Great for aging softwood decks that need a more noticeable update without fully covering the wood.
- Solid: Hides imperfections while maintaining wood texture. Perfect for weathered wood of any type—including pressure-treated lumber, cedar, and redwood. Also excellent for painting wood furniture.
